BLESSING FOR A NEW MOTHER AND FATHER
OR FOR A NEWBORN
These are joyous celebrations of support. Honoring the father and the mother as caregivers of human life continuing. Welcoming a newborn into our world, renewing and hopeful for everyone present.

COMING OF AGE
Acknowledging a young person’s movement from child to teenager can bring placement and meaning to what is often a feared and unknown phase of our lives.

BECOMING AN ELDER
So, too, can that transition from adult, often householder, into the next unknown. Who am I that children are grown and it is now time for me to move on? Creating an awareness of the benefit we can all receive from a circle of elders is an ancient and today, much needed ritual that nourishes a culture.

END OF LIFE SERVICE
It has been my honor to not only prepare the body of many friends who have passed, yet also to officiate their memorial services. Drawing from many traditions and the values of the families, I have been blessed to help create deeply moving and meaningful ceremonies toward the care of the dead.

CEREMONIES FOR PURE ENJOYMENT—TEA PARTIES
From my private ritual of drinking my favorite beverage, to tea with a friend, to quite elaborate tea parties, it is my vocation to celebrate tea! The drinking of tea and reading poetry is a wonderful, ancient paring of experiences.
